Hinged Art Tins

These are repurposed candy tins, think “Altoids” in size. They have been cleaned and hand painted. The artwork on the tins has been hand stamped,  hand painted and inked, then layered on various art papers, then decoupaged onto the tin and the outside is sealed with a water based polyurethane sealer. The interior is left plain, in case the tin is going to be used for consumables. I use mine for emergency candy and vitamins as well as storage for my earrings when I travel.

Due to the nature of the materials, the patterns on the art papers may vary but the overall color scheme will remain the same.  Each is made at time of order and is truly one of a kind.

Most of the tins used are approximately 3.75″ x 2.375″ x .8125″, but due to the nature of the materials used, some small variances occur. Some tins are more  a square rather than a rectangle.  If you require a specific size and or shape, please contact me.
