Crafty Covens Terms of Service

Welcome to Crafty Covens! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our marketplace platform located at craftycovens.com (the “Site”), including all associated services provided by Crafty Covens (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Overview

Crafty Covens is an online marketplace that allows independent vendors to sell handmade, small-batch, and occult-related goods. We act as a platform to connect buyers and vendors but do not manufacture, store, or ship products ourselves.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

  • You must be 18 years or older to create an account or make purchases on Crafty Covens.
  • Vendors must provide accurate business and payment details when registering.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account information secure. If you suspect unauthorized activity, contact support@craftycovens.com immediately.

Vendor Verification via Facebook Login
As part of the vendor registration process, Crafty Covens allows vendors to verify their identity using Facebook Login. When selecting this option, vendors agree that Crafty Covens may access their basic public profile data (such as name, profile picture, and email address, if granted) for verification purposes only. This information is not stored, shared, or used for any purpose beyond vendor verification.

3. Buying on Crafty Covens

  • When purchasing a product, you are entering into a direct transaction with the vendor.
  • Review each vendor’s policies regarding shipping, returns, and refunds before purchasing.
  • If an issue arises with an order, buyers should first contact the vendor before escalating to Crafty Covens.

4. Selling on Crafty Covens

  • Vendors are responsible for managing their inventory, fulfilling orders, and providing customer service.
  • All product listings must be accurate and comply with marketplace guidelines.
  • Vendors must honor their stated refund, return, and shipping policies.
  • Vendors can be subject to warnings, account suspension, or removal if they violate marketplace policies.

5. Payments & Fees

  • Crafty Covens processes transactions through Stripe Connect.
  • Vendors receive payments directly via Stripe after Crafty Covens collects its commission.
  • Any applicable transaction fees will be outlined in the Vendor Handbook.

6. Refunds & Disputes

  • Vendors set their own refund and return policies. Buyers should review these policies before purchasing.
  • If a refund dispute arises, Crafty Covens may intervene if a vendor is unresponsive or violates their own stated policies.
  • Buyers may also seek resolution through their payment provider (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, credit card).

7. Prohibited Activities

Users may NOT:

  • Sell illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited items.
  • Engage in fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive business practices.
  • Use the platform for money laundering or financial crimes.
  • Spam, harass, or abuse other users.
  • Violate intellectual property rights of others.

Crafty Covens reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Intellectual Property

  • Vendors retain rights to their own product images and descriptions.
  • By listing a product, vendors grant Crafty Covens a license to use their content for promotional purposes.
  • Users may not copy, distribute, or reproduce content from the Site without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Crafty Covens is not liable for disputes between buyers and vendors.
  • We do not guarantee product quality, delivery times, or vendor reliability.
  • Crafty Covens is not responsible for financial losses due to vendor misconduct or third-party service issues.

10. Account Termination

Crafty Covens may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, including but not limited to:

  • Fraudulent activity
  • Repeated policy violations
  • Failure to fulfill orders

Users may also request account deletion by contacting support@craftycovens.com.

11. Changes to These Terms

Crafty Covens may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
