Crafty Covens Product Policy

Welcome to Crafty Covens, a marketplace dedicated to witchcraft, occult, and metaphysical goods. To maintain the integrity and theme of our platform, we have established the following product guidelines. All vendors must comply with these policies when listing items for sale on Crafty Covens.

1. Allowed Products

Crafty Covens welcomes a wide variety of witchcraft-related products, particularly those that are handmade, curated, or serve as ritual supplies. The categories listed below are examples, not an exhaustive list. Other relevant items may also be allowed if they align with the marketplace’s theme.

Handmade Products

Crafty Covens prioritizes handmade and artisan-crafted goods. The following are examples of acceptable handmade products:

  • Ritual tools (wands, chalices, athames, cauldrons, etc.)
  • Spell jars, charm bags, and other spellwork-related creations
  • Altar cloths, hand-carved items, and handmade ritual decor
  • Hand-poured candles, spell oils, and magical potions
  • Print-on-Demand (POD) items only if the design is original (e.g., custom tarot decks, witchy art prints, and Book of Shadows pages)

Curated Occult & Witchcraft Supplies

Vendors may sell mass-produced occult and witchcraft-related supplies, provided they are curated specifically for spiritual or ritual use. The following are examples of acceptable items:

  • Crystals and minerals (raw, polished, or set in jewelry)
  • Herbs and botanicals for ritual or spell use
  • Resale of altar tools, tarot decks, incense, and divination supplies (must be appropriately described and not generic mass-market items)
  • Ethically sourced animal bones, skulls, and preserved specimens (must comply with local laws)

Crafting & Ritual Supplies (Mass-Produced Allowed)

  • Candle-making supplies, jars, resin molds, fabric, beads, and other tools for crafting magical goods
  • Bulk herbs, salts, powders, and anointing oils for spellwork
  • DIY spell kits or ritual ingredient sets

Books & Educational Materials

  • Self-published books, grimoires, and printed occult materials
  • Mass-produced books related to witchcraft, paganism, divination, or spiritual practices

If your product is handmade and aligns with witchcraft, paganism, or the occult but is not explicitly listed above, it may still be eligible for sale. If you are unsure whether your product qualifies, please contact Crafty Covens for review before listing.

2. Restricted & Prohibited Items

Mass-Produced Items

❌ NO Generic Occult Jewelry

  • Factory-made pentagram necklaces, tarot rings, and similar items are not allowed unless they are handmade, uniquely curated, or altered in a meaningful way.

❌ NO Dropshipping or Print-on-Demand Without Original Designs

  • Vendors must physically hold inventory; third-party fulfillment (dropshipping) from sites like AliExpress, Temu, or Amazon is prohibited.
  • Print-on-Demand (POD) items are allowed only if they feature original artwork or designs by the seller.

Non-Witchy Items

❌ NO unrelated gothic, fantasy, or general home decor unless it has a direct connection to witchcraft or occult practices.
❌ NO mass-produced fashion items unless they are explicitly designed for ritual or magical purposes.

Legal & Ethical Restrictions

❌ NO Copyrighted or Stolen Content

  • Listings must not feature AI-generated artwork labeled as “handmade.”
  • No unauthorized reselling of another creator’s work.

❌ NO Medical or Health Claims

  • No listing may claim to cure, prevent, or treat any medical condition.
  • Herbal remedies, oils, and potions must be sold as spiritual aids only and labeled “for entertainment purposes.”

❌ NO Banned or Illegal Items

  • No endangered animal parts, restricted herbs, or substances illegal in the seller’s or buyer’s location.
  • No spell-cast items that could be considered fraudulent under local laws.

3. Enforcement & Compliance

  • Crafty Covens reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these policies.
  • Sellers who repeatedly violate these policies may have their accounts suspended or removed.
  • Vendors must ensure their listings accurately describe their items, including their sourcing and intended use.

By listing products on Crafty Covens, vendors agree to abide by these policies. Failure to comply may result in product removal, account suspension, or banning from the platform.
