My main focus when creating a piece is repurposing items found in thrift stores, charity shops, etc. One of our favorites to shop at is our local Humane Society thrift store. The money goes to a good cause in my community. Anyway, I was walking through the shop and I spotted some lasered wood pieces cut into the outline of a butterfly. Had to have them because I knew they’d look awesome backed with some color shifting paper I’ve been carting around for over a decade!
These three pair are hand made, and while not ‘one of a kind’ per se, I won’t make any more until I find more of the laser cut bugs out in the wild.
